Around this time of year in Italy, Italians are busy harvesting and preparing their home grown tomatoes to make whats called 'Passata'... A rich tomato sauce that's used practically every single day in cooking. Last year I was a spectator, still classified a tourist cheering from the sidelines while taking a few shots with my trusty camera... This year however I'm married..I'm officially part of the family, which means my efforts were most needed to get the work done!! At least 200 bottles of Passata were made to hopefully last us untill next year's summer harvest... that's a lot of pasta to be eaten... but I'm up for the challenge ;)
